Recently, Assistant Professor Huang Kaixing has had a paper published in Journal of Agricultural Economics as first author. The paper is titled "Adaptation May Reduce Climate Damage in Agriculture by Two Thirds".

In this paper, the authors estimate the amount of potential loss in agricultural profits, due to climate change, that can be reduced by agricultural adaptation, by comparing the climate change impact on agricultural profits with or without adaptation. Then they draw the conclusion that adaptation has the potential to offset about two‐thirds of the end‐of‐century loss in agricultural profits potentially resulting from climate change.

Journal of Agricultural Economics mainly focuses on issues related to agricultural economics. It is in the list of JCR Q1.
