(Correspondent: Zhao Na) On September 22, the 10th New Moganshan Conference and Symposium to Commemorate the 35th Anniversary of the Moganshan Conference were held. In order to encourage young and middle-aged scholars to continue and carry forward the spirit of Moganshan, Moganshan Research Institute conducted the selection of outstanding young and middle-aged papers at the 10th New Moganshan Conference. Five papers were awarded this honor. Ma Caichen, Professor of the School of Economics of Nankai university, completed his thesis The Development Course and Prospect of the Republic Budget in 70 Years in cooperation with doctoral students Zhao Di and Miao Shan, and won the Young and Middle-aged Excellent Thesis Award at the 10th Moganshan Conference.

In September 1984, 124 young and middle-aged representatives from all over the country gathered in Moganshan to argue fiercely about China's reform and development path and made important contributions to China's economic system reform. The Moganshan Conference is thus called a pioneering event in the history of economic reform thought. Since the launch of the New Moganshan Conference in 2012, there have been more than 2000 participants, many of whom are the best representatives of young and middle-aged scholars.
