(Correspondent: Zhao Na) On October 10, the 2019 annual conference of Society of Public Finance of China, and 22nd National Symposium on Fiscal Theory was held in Beijing National Accounting Institute. More than 400 leaders, experts, scholars and business leaders from the national financial system, financial theory and financial business management participated in the meeting. Liu Kun, the secretary of the Party group and the minster of the Ministry of Finance, and Lou Jiwei, the member of the standing committee and the director of Foreign Affairs Committee of the 13th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee, and the president of Society of Public Finance of China, Liu Shangxi, the president of China Academy of Financial Sciences, Gao Peiyong, the vice president of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

At the same time, the 10th Congress of Society of Public Finance of China was held. After the election, Professor Ni Zhiliang, Ma Caichen and Guo Yuqing of the School of Economics were elected as the members of the Society, and Professor Guo Yuqing was recently elected as the members of the Youth Tax Research Association of the Chinese Taxation Association.

It is reported that Society of Public Finance of China was officially established in 1979 with the approval of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The competent department is the Ministry of Finance. The purpose of Society of Public Finance of China is to adhere to be guided by Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the important thinking of the Three Represents, the Scientific Outlook on Development, and Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the four cardinal principles, persist in reform, opening up and seeking truth from facts, link theory with practice, and implement the policy of hundred schools of thought contending and academic democracy. We should actively organize and promote all sectors of society to study Fiscal Science, so as to prosper China's fiscal undertakings, establish and improve the socialist market economic system, and accelerate the realization of socialist modernization.
