Associate Professor Qiao Xiaonan of the Department of Economics Attended the 67th Annual Meeting of Japan Society of Political Economy (JSPE)

(Correspondence: Qiao Xiaonan) For October 16 to 21, Associate Professor Qiao Xiaonan of the Department of Economics was invited to Japan for academic exchanges and attending conferences.

Associate Professor Qiao Xiaonan first gave a lecture entitled “The Development and Application of Marxist Theory of Optimal Economic Growth” at Keio University. The lecture was hosted by the Economics Association of Keio University. Professor OHNISHI HIROSHI, a well-known Marxist economist, presided over the report and commented on the lecture.

Subsequently, Associate Professor Qiao Xiaonan attended the 67th Annual Meeting of Japan Society of Political Economy (JSPE) held at Komazawa University, and gave a report entitled “Mathematical Marxist Economics in China” at the Youth Forum of the annual meeting. Japan Society of Political Economy is Japan's largest and most influential Marxist economics society.

Through this academic exchange, the relationship between the School of Economics of Nankai University and the Japanese Marxist Economics Community has been further strengthened, and cooperative research has been promoted.
