Associate Professor Qilin Mao won the 4th Yinxing Hong Economics Award

(Correspondence: Zhao Hong) on Nov 3rd, the 4th Yinxing Hong Economics Awards Ceremony and Academic Seminar was held at Nanjing University. A single authored paper written by Associate Professor Qilin Mao, "Does human capital promote the upgrading of China's processing trade?” (published on Economic Research journal,2019 issue 1) won this award. Associate Professor Mao attended the awards ceremony and delivered speeches in the subsequent academic seminars.
It is reported that in order to promote the prosperity and development of China's economic disciplines and to encourage young economists to publish more original research and better serve the socialist economic construction with Chinese characteristics, Yinxing Economic Research Fund established “Yinxing Hong”. Economics Award in 2016. The award is selected and awarded once a year. It is managed by the Yinxing Hong Economics Awards Committee. The organization and coordination organization are located at Nanjing University.
Qilin Mao, as one of the 100 young leaders of Nankai University and the top talent of Tianjin Youth, is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at the Institute of International Economics, School of Economics, Nankai University. In recent years, as the first author/communication author, Prof. Mao has published 5 papers in SSCI journals such as The World Economy and China Economic Review and has published in Economic Research (4), Management World (5), Economics (Quarterly). (5), and World Economy (13). In total, in these four of the top domestic journals, Prof. Mao has published (including receiving) 27 papers. The representative monograph Trade Liberalization, Heterogeneity and Corporate Dynamics was published by the Commercial Press (2019).
