Associate Professor Peng Zhiwei won the Outstanding Scholar Award of 2019 Chinese Young Economist Award

(Correspondent: Guo Shuyu) On December 5th, the 2019 Chinese Young Economist Award Presentation Ceremony was held in Beijing. This year the theme was New Opportunities for Chinese Enterprises in an Era of Uncertainty. The forum was hosted by Han Xichen, Executive Deputy Editor-in-Chief of China Business News. Guests including Jin Yong, Member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, President of China Business News, Zhou Jun, Vice President of Dunhuang Network, Wu Changqi, Professor of Guanghua School of Management, Peking University attended the forum. Peng Zhiwei, associate professor of the Department of International Economics and Trade, along with 9 other scholars, won the Third Outstanding Scholars Award for Outstanding Scholars in China.
The Chinese Young Economist Award was organized by China Economic Future, China Business News, and China Economic Think Tank, with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences as the intelligent support unit and CNKI.net as the cooperative unit. The selection aims to excavate and cultivate a group of scholars familiar with topics on Economics, Finance, Commercial Policies, International Relations, provide a solid foundation for Chinese enterprises to expand foreign trade, cultivate new trade models and promote the construction of a strong trading nation.
