Professor Xue Jun and Doctor Li Jinyong Were Invited to Give Lectures in China-Japan International Forum on Macroeconomic Trends

(Correspondent: Zhong Yiming) Sponsored by the Institute of Financial and Economic Strategies in Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and co-hosted by Daiwa Institute of Comprehensive Studies and School of Economics in Nankai university, the 2019-2020China-Japan International Forum on Macroeconomic Trends was held in Beijing. More than 50 experts in several scientific research institutions gathered together and conducted in-depth discussion on macroeconomic situation and operational trends of China and Japan, including trade frictions, aging of population, foreign direct investment and tax cuts and fees. The forum achieved great success.

During the forum speech session, Cai Fang, Vice President of the Institute of Financial and Economic Stratef in Chinese Academy of Social Sciences gave a lecture on “Face the aging society, putting forward policy suggestions to deal with the aging population.

In the section of macroeconomic trend research, Professor Xue Jun, Director of Center for Global Economic Research, analyzed the current situation of China's OFDI and predicted the situation in the following three years, based on the database of Chinese enterprises built by his own team.

Also, Doctor Li Jinyong of School gave a speech on Chinese enterprises' foreign direct investment and regional innovation: from the perspective of enterprise ownership”.
