School of Economics Achieved Good Results in the Reprint Index Ranking of the National People's Congress Copying Newspaper Materials (2019)

(Correspondent: GUO, Shuyu) Recently, the 2019 Copied Newspaper and Journal Data Reprint Index Ranking, which was jointly developed by the Social Sciences Academic Achievement Evaluation Research Center of Renmin University of China and the Books and Newspapers and Information Center, was officially released.

The ranking is based on the statistics of nearly 100 series of newspaper materials’ reprint in 2019. Among them, the reprint volume ranking is the ranking of the literature based on the amount of reprint volume. The comprehensive index ranking is based on the reprint volume, reprint rate and average score of reprint articles.

This year, 571 humanities and social science journals, 316 teaching and scientific research institutions and 172 institutions affiliated with universities are on the list.

In the rankings of colleges and universities by discipline, Nankai University has many highlights. The reprinted volume, comprehensive index rankings of economics and theoretical economics all ranked 2nd in national universities. The applied economics reprinted rankings ranked 5th and comprehensive indexes ranked 3rd. In the sub-disciplinary ranking of institutions affiliated with universities, School of Economics (economics, theoretical economics, applied economics disciplines) reprinted volume and comprehensive index rankings all ranked 1st.

At the same time, teachers of our school, including An Husen, Deng Xiangrong, Liu Fengyi, Ma Caichen, Sheng Bin, Tong Jiadong, Wan Zhihong, Zhang Jingjia, Junshan Zhang, were selected into the list of Authors of Important Sources of Reprint Newspaper Materials (2019 edition) by the National People's Congress.

The Book and Information Center, Renmin University of China was established in 1958, was the earliest information provider in New China engaged in the collection, collation, editing, and publication of humanities and social sciences. Its reprint volume, reprint rate and comprehensive index of have gradually been regarded as one of the reference bases for the evaluation of humanities and social sciences and scientific research by academics and journals.
