Wang Yong is currently an assistant professor at Institute of New Structural Economics. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in economics at The University of Chicago, U.S. His main research interests are economic growth, macro development, China and India economy, and political economics. His papers have been published in the top international journals such as Journal of Development Economics and Journal of Monetary Economics.
