School of Economics and China (Hainan) Institute for Reform and Development Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation

(Correspondent: Zhao Hong) On the afternoon of April 14, 2021, Prof. Sheng Bin, dean of the School of Economics of Nankai University, visited the China (Hainan) Institute of Reform and Development (CIRD). During the meeting with Zhang Fei, vice president of CIRD, Prof. Sheng introduced the history, characteristics and advantages of Economics disciplines in Nankai, and Zhang Fei introduced the development of think tanks of CIRD. They conducted in-depth exchanges on institutional network construction, talent exchanges, research and internship bases, and academic cooperation, and reached agreement to sign the Memorandum of Cooperation. During the meeting with He Dongni, an alumnus of economics at Nankai University and vice-president of CIRD, Prof. Sheng presented the newly published academic works by experts and scholars of the School of Economics. Sun Jingyu, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Economics of Nankai University, and  Huang Donghui, director of the Scientific Research Office of CIRD, participated in all relevant activities.

The China (Hainan) Institute of Reform and Development was established in 1991. It has worked hard to build a think tank for China's reforms, which has had a wide range of influences at home and abroad.
