Xu Qiyuan is currently a senior research fellow and the Deputy Director of Institute of World Economics and Politics at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS).His main research interests are China’s macro-economic policy and Sino-US trade issues. He has published more than 60 papers in domestic and international journals and has published 10 monographs. He has won the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award and the Pu Shan Award for Excellent Paper in World Economics, and won 4 times the Annually Prize for Policy-Making Information, CASS(1 time Special Prize, 3 times First Prize). He entered the list of “top youth talents” of the “10000 Talents Program” in 2016, and its list of “leading talents of philosophy and social science” in 2021. He is also the standing director of China Society of World Economics, an invited expert of China Economic Monitoring&Analysis Center and a member of the financial and tax talent pool of China’s Ministry of Finance.
