Yang Rudai is currently a professor at the School of Economics of Peking University. His main research interests are development economics and industrial economics. He has led  several projects such as Major Project of National Social Science Fund of China and “Special Project for the 14^th Five-Year Plan” of National Natural Science Fund of China. He has had several papers published in journals such as Economic Research Journal, Journal of Management World, World Development and Journal of Business Ethics.
