(Correspondent: Wang Tianjian) From April 28^th to April 30^th, 2023, Dr. Liang Junshang of the School of Economics attended the annual editorial board conference of Review of Radical Political Economics (RRPE) held at St. John’ s University, New York, U.S., as a member of the editorial board.

Founded by the famous Union for Radical Political Economics, Review of Radical Political Economics is one of the English academics journals with the highest level and the greatest influence in the field of Marxist political economics. Dr. Liang Junshang was selected as a member of the editorial board of RRPE in September 2021, and has served on the board since then. He is the only board member from a university in China’s mainland since the foundation of the journal.

During the conference, Dr. Liang listened carefully to the reports on various aspects of the journal’s operation delivered by editors and different committees of the journal, and actively participated in the discussion and voting on major revisions of the journal’s policy. Dr. Liang also introduced the glorious history of Nankai University as well as its profound historical tradition and fruitful academic achievements in the field of Marxist political economics to editors and editorial members from more than a dozen of countries and regions around the world. During this visit, Dr. Liang established friendly academic contacts with experts and scholars in a variety of fields, and discussed the bright prospect of further cooperation and exchanges in the future.
