(Correspondent: Zhong Yiming) From July 17th to July 23th, Dr. Chen Enxian of School of Economics attended the 2023 Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory Conference (SAET) held at the Sorbonne University of Paris, and made a presentation of his paper “Refinement of Nash Equilibrium via Local Dominance” at the parallel sub-forum conference. 

This paper establishes a set of local dominance theory based on the local robustness of equilibrium, and discusses the application of this theory in various scenarios. In addition, Dr. Chen Enxian also actively discussed the research status of cooperative game, information design and network game with the other three speakers at the sub-forum of the conference, and introduced the history, current situation and achievements of the School of Economics of Nankai University to the experts and scholars.

The SAET Annual Conference was first held in 2010 to promote the exchange of cutting-edge academic results and knowledge sharing on topics related to theoretical economics. The conference included seven keynote speeches by leading economists and hundreds of parallel sub-forum presentations. The topics covered microeconomic theory, macroeconomic theory, financial theory and other theoretical research directions, as well as some policy application research directions.
