(Correspondent: Wang Tianjian) On October 18^th, Professor Sung-Hun Kim, President of Cheju Halla University (South Korea), visited the School of Economics of Nankai University with his delegation. Professor Sheng Bin, Vice President of Nankai University and Dean of the School of Economics of Nankai University, met with President Sung-Hun Kim and his delegation at the conference room on the 11^th floor of the office building of School of Economics.

Vice President Sheng Bin welcomed President Sung-Hun Kim and his delegation, looked back on the memories of his visit to Cheju Halla University in 2018, and expressed his satisfaction with the exchange and cooperation between Nankai University and Cheju Halla University, hoping that both sides could continue to make efforts to promote cooperation.

President Sung-Hun Kim spoke highly of the Nankai-Cheju Halla “2+2” Joint Undergraduate Program, and expressed his willingness to promote further cooperation between Cheju Halla University and School of Economics of Nankai University in academic exchanges and in the cultivation of undergraduate and graduate students. 

Ji-Woo Jwa, Planning Officer of Cheju Halla University; Wui-Kyung Shin, Head of the International Office of Cheju Halla University; Wang Shan, Chinese Dean of the Confucius Institute of CHU; Hu Zhaoling, Deputy Dean of the School of Economics of Nankai University and Yuan Tao, former Dean of the Confucius Institute of CHU, attended the meeting.

After the meeting, President Sung-Hun Kim delivered an academic lecture entitled “The Development and Missions of Asian Financial Markets: Case from South Korea” to students and teachers of School of Economics of Nankai University, and had heated discussions with them.
