Dr. Ding Sihua attended the conference “Networks, Markets, States and Conflict”

(Correspondent: Zhong Yiming) Dr. Ding Sihua, a faculty member of the School of Economics, was invited to attend the conference “Networks, Markets, States and Conflict” on March 29th-30th at the New York University Abu Dhabi. The conference gathered more than 40 scholars from around the world, including renowned economists Sandeep Baliga (Northwestern University), Yann Bramoulle (Aix-Marseille University), Marcel Fafchamps (Stanford University), Sanjeev Goyal (Cambridge University), Larry Samuelson (Yale University) and Alex Wolitzky (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
During the conference, the participating scholars shared a series of network-based economic models and explored a variety of factors affecting cooperation and conflict. Dr Ding Sihua actively exchanged ideas with the scholars during the conference, and also took the opportunity to introduce the basic situation and academic pursuits of the School of Economics of Nankai University to the outside world.
