On December 20th, Wang Jue, Assistant Professor of University of Toledogave an academic lecture titled with “Gender and Racial Diversity among Inventors and Stock Returns”. Professor Li Zhihui held the lecture and Professor Hao Xiangchao and Dr. Guo Junrumade comments. Post-graduate students of School of Economics attended the lecture.

Assistant Professor Wang Jue's research primarily focuses on corporate finance and investments. She has rich research experience in the core issues of corporate finance,includinghuman capital, innovation and entrepreneurship, and mergers and acquisitions, with published papers in Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization and other renowned journals.

During the lecture, Assistant Professor Wang analyzed the impact of inventordiversity on stock returnpredictability, and shared research progress in related fields. Onsite professors and students actively discussed the research background, research methods, and future expansion directions of the paper.
